Bob's show is not only informative, it's entertainment at it's best. --> Rillinois

Yes! I Often think Bob Sr. should have a "Best of Moneytalk" tape made that Bob Jr. can sell on his WebSite.

Maybe have "The KO Lady" and the "I can't take a vacation man" aka known as "I am too stupid to hire a neighbor to look at my mail and call me if there is a sell message from Brinker".

I also enjoy some to the calls about shark attacks where the sharks go away bloody after dealing with Moneytalk regular listeners!

"Sometimes I wonder if I am just talking to myself" was also pretty funny after yet another caller with all his eggs in a just a few baskets asking Bob if he thought he was being wise....

regards
Kirk out

Rillinois: Re:"Of course, there was that one pullback in Oct. '97 where the Dow and the S & P corrected on a closing basis approx. 12.5% and 11%, respectively (on an intraday basis the correction was 14.5% and 13%, respectively). And as we heard a few weeks ago when ABC replayed an old show, Bob squirmed out of admitting he missed an
intermediate term correction by focusing in on the fact that the NYSE index only corrected 9.9% on a closing basis. (Bob's proprietary timing model is supposed to be able to detect intermediate term corrections defined as pullbacks between 10% and 20%. Intermediate term corrections often lead to bear markets.) Ooops!"

Wrong again but what else is new. When Brinker says the market can correct at any time up to 10%, he is talking about the "market." So, Rill, how does one define the "market?" You define it as either the Dow or the S & P. Well, did you forget about the mid caps or the small caps in your mad rush to bash Brinker? Everyone who is a regular MoneyTalk listener understands this point. Brinker has said over and over again that he measures market corrections using the "market." He measures it using the Wilshire 5000 which, of course, is the "market." You must have missed class that day. Nice bash attempt on a minor point but you came up short again. Ooops!

Say hello to Eura Werkenstiff, won't you? It seems all her posts have disappeared. I tried to find her but she is gone. In fact, she left on July 15, 1998 right after her last post well before her trial membership expired . Looks like she fell for the bait and posted a harassing blurb and she found the mute button, baby, right here on the internet, baby. Imagine that, looks like you were wrong on saying there is no mute button here. I guess there is a mute button after all and poor Eura found it. SI advises me that she had the same national internet provider as you and you have left an AOL address on one of your sillier posts here on SI. Now, now, who on AOL is so angry and obsessed that he/she would go out of their way to go through the lengthy registration process on SI just to post harassing messages aimed at me? I just don't know. I guess it could be someone that has done something like this before. Do you know anyone with this type of background, Rill? What I do know is that I must have really gotten under that person's skin, don't you think Rill? What a joke!!

See ya, baby.

Rillannoy: RE:<Bob's buying opportunities are simply taken by calculating 7%-8% off the highs.>

"In the event you, or anybody else for that matter, hasn't figured it out yet," "Bob squirmed out of admitting he missed ... yada, yada, yada" "Bob's proprietary timing model is supposed to be able to ...yada, yada,yada..." "did anybody catch the call last week where Bob went out on a limb..Bob's prediction would be the equivalent of predicting the next time the DOW doubles it will be at 18,000. LOL... OPPS." What a bunch of Phoney Bologna !

Oh Rill - You are MY IDOL ! How did you EVER become so smart ? Will you be my mentor ? Please, please, PLEEEEZE tell us WHEN are you going to start your own market timing newsletter so we can all subscribe and pant each month in anticipation of the postman delivering your insightful market advice ? Gee, I hope snail mail doesn't delay my newsletter.

LOL -at U ! Instead of your continuing transparent candy coated and blunt attempts to attack Brinker's credibility and character, you really SHOULD stick to reporting the sentiment %'s each week, a task you seem to perform FAIRLY well on an ALMOST regular basis.

Oh, BEST Regards, Rillannoy, LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL
