Sam, I care. What am I going to do with the money that I get from the tender? I've owned this little gem of a stock for a few years now and have a cost basis around $14. I always felt that I would own it for a decade as the renewed interest in Ultrasound plus the replacement cycle made for a great period. I've wondered for some time if Acuson was a good play as well. I think maybe I'll go skulk around on the Acuson board for some answers. Unfortunately, it is as dead as this one. Robert PS, I've just discovered your SONO thread. Maybe I'll spend some time over there too.
