OFF TOPIC***Our system doesn't make as much sense as the metric one,but this is what WE do.We still utilize Fahrenheit and it makes no sense,compared to Celsius. But,it's what WE do. I know Canuck friends who were raised on the inches and feet system and hated to see the metric forced on Canada,even if it is an easier and more universal one. I have had more than one express to me a grudging admiration(I did say grudging)that right or wrong,we Yanks aren't quite as malable as they were when a central government "tells" us what we need. Sometimes folks don't like to be told what's best for them,even when it is best!Idiotic sometimes,but fairly successful and Canada could sure have chosen a worse powerhouse in the 20th century to live next to. I can imagine "idiotic" would seem nice if Germany,Russia,Iran,Iraq or China had been their neighbors this century. Just some thoughts of mine,no offense intended to anyone. TM
