Well I said yesterday that if the market didn't look a whole lot better I would get out and I did that this morning. I'm out completely right now. I think short term the market is oversold so I expect a bounce here. IMO that would be a good time to go short or buy puts. I'm starting to seriously look for some good candidates. For puts the premiums must be small as I refuse to pay up for puts. So far I have been surprised at how feeble all the bounces have been in the last week. I think the market looks likes its teetering on the edge and one good shove could push it over. No obvious candidate for the shove right this second but I like the odds here of going short. I think the stocks with high p/e's and questionable growth and not big caps are the best ones to short here. Will let people know when I've started shorting some.
