Sam; Thanks for the response. I don't know whether I am making sense or not about a "scorched earth" policy or not. Too many things could be coloring my thinking right now, however, I appreciate the input of QNTM. I also agree that Shugart probably would not have taken a path of this nature. Luzco might. If this is the way the cards are going out the new China plant should be an asset. It does appear apparent that there is no bright future for the data storage industry....yet. Kevin Linder
