My reference to $127 is simply the stock price I need for my Sept 120 options to double Don't know how you can say that. If the Dell hits 127 tomorrow, your 120s will be worth a fair bit more than if it hits 127 3 weeks from now. Plus, other factors (such as volatility) affect the call prices as well.

tsyl, please clarify. You said in one post: I love selling the Aug 120's at 4. Dont know what stock price 4 equates to. Dell, as my may know, has been up at open past several days...best time to sell aroung 9:45. May increase your premium. Lets hope Dells goes past 120 by third Friday in August. Bets are iffy right now - so why not do as you are doing - sell risk (calls) to someone else. I have Sept 120's myself..hoping for 127 on or soon after earnings date. Then you said in a later post on the same subject: So many IF's when trading the mkt..
