TO BRAD MERTZ, ALL,
Scuttlebut is at one meeting (Scotia) they said they'd give Ledoux a week and then write off Franklin Lake and move on to South Africa. They told another meeting (at which there were FL proponents) they were still open to any technologies for FL, but would still be willing to do a deal, even if dilutive, for South Africa. I have it confirmed that they are now auctioning off the equipment at the Franklin Lake pilot plant; Jeremy Ison said it's useless; got to pay his $84,000/year salary and Norton's $180,000/year salary somehow, so why not loot the company's plant and equipment assets? Seriously, the stuff out there may be useless and requiring sale; but BTW Groves et al are a couple weeks from starting production. Is this the right time to plunder the Company's assets? Is this what they mean by cost cutting, not the neuvo salaries? Do actions speak louder than words (selling off FR plant and equipment, trying to buy into the "next" project? Do they really care about Ledoux? Or does CPM think FR is too nonconventional, so they're just trying to bury it? Don't look now but we may be getting snookered into changing from a high-tech to an also-run. I hope I'm wrong. SOME of you do, some don't. Stand up if you believe in Franklin Lake, and force these nonbelievers (Kemp, Gordon, Norton, Ison, CPM) to go elsewhere and get out of the way. BTW, do you think they'll ever give us an update on Russell, or are they too busy selling to Company cheap?

"Why don't we take a little thread poll here of our regular posters or lurkers as to who thinks the prospect of looking for a gold deposit somewhere else has the slightest possibility of success"

ROFLOL! I think Naxos has all the talent it needs to buy up and run any under performing property out there. As I under stand it the first walk on the moon was funded by Naxos. The Moon is their next proposed property. This makes a good fit for naxos management and its shareholders. Now you will be able to walk outside each night and view the progress on your investment.

While I'm sure Larry is sincere and I don't question his motives, I agree with BGM. Naxos is FL and this talk of other properties is really insane. JMO. JLA
