Actually try and look at it this way. You can't connect the spread of a bb stock with volume they don't work together. In your example of TXAG is it possible they tightened the spread because they knew the stock was going down? Now everyone knows that BB stocks move on rumors or possible forthcoming news releases. Like you said the MM's make money in between the spread. When would you widen the spread? In anticipation of possible buying or during the peak? I would think in advance! JMO
