Platter: Have been following SEEK and this thread for a year. Don't listen to the bears today who are the same ones that advised to sell SEEK at 11 and 17 and 21. Lsiten to the successful long termers who have given accurate advice in the past [ie; Klempay, cm, Sims, Lindt, etc]. Read the old posts on someone to see if they are merely spouting BS or if they really know what they are talking about. I invite you to read Luke's March and April posts when he spoke of the "rumor" of talks with Disney. When Luke speaks, I listen. Sims has been consistently correct in his technical analysis, and I would agree that Lycos is extremely oversold and will rebound and be highly profitable for those with the guts to buy it today. The overall market is not crashing at this time, and the internet is here to stay. I initially bought SEEK last fall at 11 and did not panic out and sell when it dropped to 7 3/4 in Dec/Jan. I held it, bought more at 17 and sold it all the first trip to the 40's. Bought back at 23. Sold again in the 30's. Now IMO is the last opportunity to buy at sub 30/40 levels, based on the MACD, RSI, CCI, and stochastics. The next run should penetrate the resistance at 40 which will then transform into support. Read the July 27, 1998 FORBES for a great article.....Those who buy SEEK today and hold will be wealthy in a couple of years. Go SEEK!
