COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC:

Matty, a great line-up.

I'd put Stanley after Ventura, however. Better protection for Thomas and Garciaparra.
Plus you want that DH energy to feel like it's contribution is valued.

I like Buford/Bragg at the end.

It's an amazing line-up. With Nomar fourth, it's like a second chance for a lead-off
hitter in the second inning. Therefore more chances at an early game lead, which makes
the pitching stronger.

But with Buford/Bragg and Lewis at the bottom and the top of the order, you get great
table-setters ahead of Val/Reg, Frank and Nomar as they bat through the order. Plus,
this strategy gives you three shots (Buford/Bragg, Lewis and Garciaparra) at a
table-setter for leading off innings as the game wears on. It's good to see the Red Sox
finally utilizing speed.

In closing, the pitching speaks for itself. Come on, Avery!
