That would depend on whether or not Starnet is providing turn-key service to licensees. A turn-key installation is one where multimedia games are hosted on Starnet servers and thus are the customers point of access to the system. The licensees typically host transaction servers in whatever jurisdication they are licensed. For this reason, accepting wagers from United States customers could be a sticky issue for the company. Should the client (licensee) be hosting the software in its entirety, it may be a non issue with respect to proposed US law. As a US chartered public company Starnet would be bound by US law. Perhaps Starnet could elaborate further on this topic.

I was wondering the same thing about the software. Will it automatically deny accounts that have an originate from the U.S. From my conversations with Alan, I believe that SNMM is taking the stance that the licensees take the risk of accepting wagering in the US, so the software will accept those wagers. Now that response was before the recent Senate passage of the Kyl bill, so their position might have changed. I'll email Alan and find out.

I have been out of town for three days. Got back and was expecting earnings release. Did they file an extension? Or will earnings be released tonight? When I spoke to Alan last week by email, he did say the earnings would be released on time on July 29. What's the deal.
