Hi Victor - I have experienced a lot of missed opportunities; and my excuse is that the rear visibility is much better than the forward visibility.

A few days ago, when irrational optimism overcame me, I bought 40 of the Aug 15 calls (NKQHC), at 1/8. Now, faced with the opportunity to buy Aug 12.5 calls (NHQHV) at 3/8 or less, I'm almost tempted to buy some and gamble on Novell's recovery (however temporary) just before earnings are announced on the 20th. A look at the historical price/volume chart seems to suggest that this pattern has happened before.

Please don't interpret the above as investment advice because I'm just a gambler at heart and take more chances than I should. But I'm having fun and making a dollar or two now and then.

Regards,

Elmo
