Good to hear from you, old friend. They sure don't do a good job of advertising their wares. Nothing new. Isn't the $50/mo figure what we were kicking around last November? No, it was $200 or so, but you wanted the $50. It's very competitive. You must be going to do what I suggested, have ATHM host your site and you access it through copper until they cable you in. Now don't get all enraged again because I presumably don't understand. Don't you have to retain your copper ISP until the hookup? If not, you can get enraged again. Thought I'd tag a line from the @Work site:Our business services platform includes secure end-to-end managed Internet connectivity (via leased line, DSL and hybrid fiber coax), virtual private networking, and secure, high-speed remote LAN access along with web hosting, co-location services, and other network based business-critical applications. The roll-out is being held hostage by the availability of the good NICs, the changing of the T guard, and the extreme difficulty managing the scale. This will be a model upon which many other cities and surrounding suburbs will be built, so they have to do it right. It is a showcase. There is no split coming. They just need growth capital. It isn't dilutive because there isn't much to dilute! Notice it isn't some debenture or private placement or other weak no confidence move. They just come out and confidently say, give us money. We need it. We want it. We're going to use it to go to the Orient. Splitting doesn't add to paid-in capital. It is just to make the share price more palatable to the masses. For some screwball reason half the SI denizens somehow believe that a split per se makes the stock rise. I guess you can see the reasoning through the palate.
