TO ALL:

As suggested by someone else (I'm really sorry I can't remember who), I've started an FNTN Investor site to better organize our thoughts and analysis. I have several caveats/rules regarding this site.

(1) I'm brand new at HTML, so there will be glitches. Please mail me with all problems/suggestions and I'll resolve them as quickly and as well as I can.

(2) The site is ours, not mine.

(3) I suggest we try to filter out any SI messages that do not contain material information. I like to hear words of encouragement as much as the next guy/gal regarding my stock, but chearleader type messages are irrelevant to meaningful analysis of the company.

(4) I have determined an initial organization for the web site, I'm up for suggestions as to how I should change/improve it.

Those are my "rules". Mainly, I need you all to realize that I'm only human and will try my best to maintain the site (with all your help) as best I can.

The site is at: home.swbell.net

I have begun working through from the beginning of the current SI thread. I am only on post number 20 or so and have linked in some excellent articles recommended by Bill Fortune.

Please let me know how I can improve the site.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: I need a lot of help in culling through the 2400 or so FNTN messages to find the pith. Please send me links to your favorite messages and I'll link them and categorize them as appropriate.

Thanks for your help and understanding.

Kevin

Could only find an article about IDB in the Tampa Tribune on February 26, 1998. (Brandon, FL is just to the east of Tampa). Close corporation--so won't have much luck finding details. Incorporated by a former broker, Dwayne Pass, who apparently got tired of waiting for someone to offer this service. Two subscribers were mentioned in the article and they swear by it (one had 75% increase in portfolio value based on decision made because of the alerts). Website: www.goidb.com

craig, recently I asked the same questions of the founder Barry Stein.
answers:
The FNTN acquisition of IDB is on track, no problems are expected.
No one of FNTN ( Barry Stein included) had any previously financial relationship with Empire FInancial. Barry did have his own firm until 1994 which was a competitor of Empire.

one of the earlier posts was in error mentioning or suggesting a connection.

regards, Blair
