Well, at today's rate of decline, we only have about 30 days left to us anyway.

There is some unsubstantiated speculation over on the Yahoo thread that Microsoft is going to buy OMKT... that would mean we get a grand total of maybe 16 or 17 for the stock and never realize the potential we (stockholders) had.

What the hell happened? Did Wall Street forget what potential electronic commerce had for Main Street? Are the enabling companies really worth half of what they were worth a couple of months ago? What happened to the value of our patents? What happened to the new way of doing business? Did some analyst deduce that it wasn't such a good idea after all?

The only theory that holds up is my long term belief that the whole thing is a giant torture tolerance test. Once you absolutely can't take the declines anymore and actually sell, it turns around and goes up without you.. but the market now knows how much pain you can take for the next round. This will probably be good news for everyone with a lower pain threshold than me because I am about at my limit.
