Larry,

Thanks for reminding us of Greens' checkered past!!
I was not aware of this.

As for a rally to sell into, a rush for the exits seems as likely, given the low cash levels at Mutual Funds.

best,art

Hi Larry; <OT> Thanks for the post , I didn't know the part about
the Greenspan good health report on 16 of the 15 failed ones.

What I keep hearing on the news is that they want Japan to fix
their banks like we fixed the S&Ls problem. What a joke, so now they
take credit for fixing something, when it's the Tax payer who is
still doing the fixing.
They hid most of damage in the national debt,
so that we can pay interest on it for however many generations
follow us, because we can't every pay it off.

When something like this happens and gets hidden, it's for all
practical purposes the last thing you pay off, so the interest
cost hundreds of times or more that was originally stolen.
Thanks to compound interest the cost can be virtually unlimited,
as I doubt they ever plan to pay off the debt. It's part of a
System that they insist we must have. Don't ask why. <G>

I could get into how they use a form of English that we need to
learn to translate to understand, even then you will often find they can talk for hours and never say anything, but the best part is they can mess something up and claim to have fixed it.
