hmmmmmmmmmm..........

You seem to have missed my point.
I know that the portals have been consistently moving upward together, that was the whole reason I bought into Seek in the first place. It was the only one that hadn't experienced a big run up during the time the others were. (I'm talking about the week of the Lycos & Excite Split announcement) They all had moved up big, which I had made amazing returns off of. Just doing quick turn around plays here..
Seek was lagging a bit behind & since earning were coming up for them I was hoping to see at least a few more points out of them. However, I am simply saying that during this same time-frame the market seemed to lose it's interest in the whole Seek/Dis deal and has been letting the stock float down gradually ever since. I don't doubt that Infoseek will eventually return to it's previous levels. They may even become big enough to rival Yahoo (which personally I can't stand to use and always go to Infoseek for searches). I'm only saying that for now infoseek is stuck in a trading range & it most likely will not move out of it to any great degree until the next earnings season or some other major deal.

As someone on another thread said. If millions of people are willing to run out to throw their money away buying powerball tickets than millions will eventually jump back into these overvalued internet stocks.

Hopefully, one day soon these stocks will actually make enough money to warrant their stock prices.
