Active Apparel Group, Inc. to Debut Products on Fashionmall.com,
Nation's Leading Fashion Web Site

NEW YORK, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Active Apparel Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAGP)
today announced that a limited selection of its Everlast women's and men's
activewear would be marketed via a web site specifically designed for the
company on Fashionmall.com. The Active Apparel site is scheduled to debut
this month.
Active Apparel chairman and chief executive George Q. Horowitz said, "The
growing power and reach of the Internet as a distribution channel is being
demonstrated daily. After considerable study, we determined that
Fashionmall.com, the nation's premier site, offered the greatest visibility
for our products. In addition to receiving over 12 million hits per month,
visitors to Fashionmall.com represent our primary target audience. We are
also impressed by the functionality of Fashionmall.com's ordering system,
which enables customers to order our products via the Internet, fax, 800 line,
or mail. Through our site, we will also be able to supply potential customers
with location information on retailers offering our products."
Active Apparel's site on Fashionmall.com will be launched with special
banner ads that will appear at various portals such as Yahoo!, Excite,
Netscape, America Online, which will generate additional visitors. In
addition, Active Apparel plans customer giveaways and contests to create
consumer awareness of the site.
Founded in 1994, Fashionmall.com is a joint venture between the Internet
Design Group and Richard A. Eisner & Company, LLP. Fashionmall.com was the
first commercial fashion site on-line and has received numerous industry
awards. Considered a "mall-gazine," or a hybrid of a mall and a magazine,
Fashionmall.com enables companies to advertise or sell on-line to consumers
making fashion decisions.
Concluded Mr. Horowitz, "We see considerable upside potential from our
association with Fashionmall.com. In addition to being an important new
distribution channel for us, we will gain insights into customer buying
patterns and preferences, which will assist greatly in our market research
efforts."
Headquartered in New York City, Active Apparel Group, Inc. is a designer,
marketer and supplier of women's, girls', men's and unisex activewear,
sportswear, swimwear and accessories. The Company sells its product
collections under the Everlast, Converse All Star and MTV's The Grind brand
names through exclusive licensing arrangements. The Company's products are
manufactured by third party independent manufacturing contractors and are sold
to over 500 separate accounts, representing over 20,000 retail locations
throughout the United States and Canada, including a variety of department
stores, specialty stores, catalog operations and better mass merchandisers.

This release contains forward-looking statements that involve risks and
uncertainties. The Company's actual results could differ materially from
those anticipated in these forward-looking statements. Factors that may cause
such differences include, but are not limited to, the Company's expansion into
new markets, competition, technological advances and availability of
