Appears to be dated information - by about 10 yrs. Ramtron is already selling commercial 4K and 16K FRAM. We are waiting for 64K FRAM which will be out early next year, maybe sooner. The fabs the news mention no longer are the heavy hitters in FRAM production, etc. Companies like Rohm, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Toshiba, Asahi and Samsung are the significant partners today.

If you want to have some fun, look to see what, NEC, Sharp, Motorola, Symetrix, Philips, and Siemens are doing in FRAM or FeRAM or ferroelectrics. Also Rohm is building a FRAM fab in Taiwan we know little about.

Anywy, thanks for visiting the thread.

Keep looking, you'll find some news yet!
