Boy do I feel like a jerk...

1. The article said December 2000, not 1999

2. My foot doesnt taste good.

Good nite all... You and I have had enough of me for a day...

Mr. Mizzou, I thought I answered that ASND has declined in step with the general market, CSCO, LU, etc. although today's downward action was magnified by the SRA rumor. As Cramer said today on squawk box, he heard that GTE's willingness to sell itself ("merger of equals" with Bell Atlantic) for such a low price had caused people to question the valuations in the telecom industry and hence the recent selloff. Cramer said he disagreed with this theory, he's still long WCOM/LU and thought the GTE situation was company specific. As many commentators have noted, CSCO, LU, WCOM, etc. had a nice recent run and profit-taking in the summer would be expected especially given the market weakness. I would love to hear alternative theories for ASND's recent decline.
