<Salamon Smith Barney upgrade from outperform to buy. Anyone here heard about this, old news?> Yes, my contacts at SSB are very bullish on 3Com. There was some supposed "fist pounding" on the table earlier this week from the lead 3Com ANALyst over the woes of 3Com. He doesn't understand how come 3com is so far out of favor, however, believes strongly that in the near short term (I take that as 1-3 months) that either the stock will move up sharply due to renewed faith in COMS or strong LU takeover rumors. Our time will come! 3Com Boy!
