PCI. Even if you don't play games, it will speed up your general system
performance just by not having to poll the ISA bus.

The Sonic Impact, I think, will fufill your needs quite nicely. I
recieved one the other day, but still haven't done any "serious" testing of it. It has all the gaming goodies, but it also has an attractive pricetag and Diamond to back it up.

Well, for CDs and such, might want to think about not cheaping out here. The Altec Lansings that I reviewed are nice, but I just recieved another pair by Advent the other day. They ring up at 169, so they are a higher priced product than the Altecs, but they sound a lot richer. They have a 40watt 6.5" sub, with 15watt sattilites. I play cds on mine all the time :). But any way you go, get a system with a subwoofer.
