E*Trade Expects Its Stock
Will Benefit From Losses

Glenn:

Do you mean that companies are not supposed to continually lose $$$ in hypercompetitive industries (in which its competition has deeper pockers) with few if any barriers to entry where they sell commodity products (or in this case, execution)???

Huh, I may have to rethink my entire investment philosophy.

<<<<"e-charade" <sm> (sic)

will have to give the public what it demands...Sure it will take a lot of advertising dollars...but the next generation discount brokers IMO, will have to have their niche...IMO, datek,mbtrading...have an edge..Schwab has an edge, ...none of them in my mind is synonymous..with BRAND...but they all have their niche..and their edge...

when i think of electronic discount brokers..do I think of e-charade <sm> ...?

I think e-charade <sm> knows what they should give the public to actually be the best...but something tells me they won't do it......JMO...

I think the next generation success in this industry...will be a conglomeration of an mbtrading & datek
