I am a novice at all this, but my guess is that most people think of CD in terms of Avis/Coldwell-banker etc. If-when CD is seen more as a tech-related/internet stock it could go quickly to its former $40.ish position. Not an original idea, just my 2cents.

IMPRISTINE,

I disagree. People often confuse a stock with the company. I recently went to Cedar Pointe in Sandusky, Ohio. I stayed at one of CD's hotels. They gave me a nice room at a reasonable price, and provided good friendly service. They also expressed ignorance about CD proper. They are the company.

They own most of the hotels in the area, and due to the warm weather, they have had an excellent season.

Interest rates are low and housing still is brisk, again yielding good results for specific brands.

I've been looking at the software side pretty closely, and again, titles such as Starcraft are doing gangbusters.

Fundamentally, the company is sound, its perception of the stock, senior management integrity, and long term strategic execution which are the question marks for investors.

Just an opinion.
