Dear JDN - Thanks for the update. Liked three items you noted:

Both are happening more often than publicized:
(1) FAA or other govt. agencies doing in-house conversion (not going to ALYD or a vendor to remediate a code) - Reason: no or very little budget for y2k
(2) Fortune 100 company not bothering with code error - Same reason: lack of budget and lack of IT people.
One of these days, a few of the Fortune 100 companies will get caught in a big law suit or the Congress will do something. May be, it will be too late, too little. Ram
