Hello Mrs. Payne:
Have you looked at NVX? Gapped open today from 13-7/8 close yesterday to 17-5/8 today after announcing FDA approval of Certiva. Steadily falling down to 15-1/4 bid today. I could not get shares to short and was told it has been impossible for a long time. The telling statement in the release is the FDA quote about acellular vaccines having no greater efficacy than others. NVX press releases generally are misleading hype. I would expect another spike if and when they do the initial stock to their distributor. If I recall correctly, they require instead of the usual 3 DPT shots, 4 or 5 doses by age 5 to achieve a level of immunity approaching conventional vaccines. There are several convention firms as competitors. I doubt with the extra doses, their greater safety claims for one rare reaction, that they will make a handsome business out of this prospect. Their running line is that they have so many other vaccines in the pipe, too, BTW. They are around 4 years late in getting FDA approval. I do not trust the representations of their CEO. Any thoughts or reaction?
Best regards,
m

Hello Mrs. Payne:
I talked with my broker 3:48 p.. EDT, minutes before the close and he said he is getting an unusually high number of calls asking for IPO shares on Cyberian Outpost. He thinks it may come out tomorrow morning. Then there will be a 30 day quiet period. I am trying to get a prospectus before the close tomorrow. My guess is the offering will be fairly heavily oversubscribed, so I am expecting a run. Thanks for bringing WCAP to our attention. Would you please share your primary methodologies with us? I need to be more of a bird dog -- partly out of pride for original contribution, partly to test how well I can do.
Best regards,
m
