The Thomson Reports I get through Datek have insider holdings @ 10% of the company. This # completely fails to omit, however, Wolfgang M. Kossner (D, DO, H), who apparently owns 1.2M shares of the 2.9M outstanding. He obviously could control the stock by himself. Therefore, perhaps a short squeeze, coupled with the Germany action, explains to my satisfaction the action of the stock--all the more reason to stay short, and increase my position as I'm able.

Monty

[Edit: 1.2M = bud.stocksmart.com (800K) + 400K on 2/20/98]

Re Datek. Anyone else having that same problem? I'm about to open an account there, and if it is true that shares are hard to find there, I will go elsewhere. So far, just opening the account has been a nightmare.
