Maybe one of our resident Whine consultants can tell us why lgnd has been weak? Most likely that there is a flight to better quality stocks? But what do i know. I no longer own this schizophrenic stock.

<Seriously, somethings been going on at the close, but I wouldn't
assume that its buying.>

What else should we suspect?

tony,

I agree with JD. There haven't been a whole lot of buyers or sellers in the market for LGND lately. The past two days at the close someone, undoubtedly an institution, put in block buys, which as near as I can tell were cobbled together from various small sellers.

IMO, none of this is neither bullish nor bearish on the company nor the stock. Trading is thin, it's summer, the market is choppy, biotechs are out of favor, and occasionally someone will step in with either a buy (like the past 2 days) or a sell (also easily could happen) and move the market in doing so. No big deal.
