Superior in the sense that European civilization had progressed beyond the Stone Age many thousands of years earlier. Superior in the sense of which prevailed. Superior in the sense of how most people would rather live based on all evidence. Superior does not always win, as the corruption of the Roman Empire allowed it to brought down by less advanced peoples. Therein lies the threat to the US of someone like Clinton.
