The reason I called it spamming is because Marc has plastered the same release on about 10 different threads. He is spreading the spam all over SI! You can see what I mean by clicking on his name which will take you to his profile and recent posts. There is no doubt he is spamming this other company. But you are correct that he has merely shown that PINC has a better and cheaper mousetrap! In addition the competitor's fix does not identify non-compliant software, which is extremely important.

Sequoia, Thanks Marc for showing us the advantages of PINC. I am just now beginning to study the Y2K problems and solutions. It appears that you are correct and that PINC would seem to have a much cheaper and easier solution than opening up the computer. I am reading this thread back to learn more about the product. Marc PS: Thanks for not jumping on an new participant.
