MKL -

I agree that the forecast reduction is not a good sign. I will once
again point out the fact that although IDC is forecasting 10%CAGR
in the units, the last Trendfocus report I saw forecast a 9% ASP
decrease for that same time. Add it up, and DD revenue could
be FLAT. Not good.

Another way of looking at the forecast reduction in 2000 from
206mil to 188mil or 18mil units for the year... That's about the volume
of any one of the big three...
