Stratus is in a slow growth market because they are marketing to the slow growth telecom arena - not to the new network churn. ASND can bring Stratus products into this surging market. As for ASND's current software on HP platforms - yeah, that's fine but it's widget ware in comparison to Stratus' complete offering. Again, just my uninformed quick assessment. As for XYLN...well you may want to dig deeper into that one. What you might find will surprise you. I wish I could offer more but I won't. I will point out that Mory knows the guys at XYLN well. Perhaps that's why ASND hasn't moved on them. MRVC....hmmm...something to think about I suppose but it appears to me that ASND's business model is to NOT sell low end enterprise equipment and to stay in the higher margin service provider/large enterprise space. Stratus plays into this goal...MRVC does not. OG
