In this April 22 dispatch from Roy Carson's famous e-mail service, its celebrated author provides gripping developments about judicial health and the finer points of the Chief Justice's intentions so far as the upcoming Crystallex decision is concerned. Mr. Carson says he believes the "professional ambition" of Chief Justice Cecilia Sosa Gomez is to secure a unanimous decision on the part of all five justices considering the case. He refers to this as bulletproofing the case. "I believe the only option left to her is to go with a 3-5 or 4-5 quorum majority and this may take wing shortly," he says.
