Brad,

According to the rules of market making in the OTCBB. For stocks under .50 the size displayed will be a minimum amount of 5,000 shares. For quotations over .50 a size of 2,500 shares is all thats required to be shown. Example

Bid .48 5,000
Ask .51 2,500

If you sell they have to take it in on the bid for the 5k size
If you buy they only have to fill 2.5k size

The next level up from there is a dollar. Thats why you will see bid and ask size of 2.5k over .50. If you buy or sell in sizes larger than that they are not required to fill over that amount.
