Just a short question...Has Ampex ever acquired companies in the past? Are they are putting together components of a group to reach a certain outcome? Well that was two questions...It does appear that they have added what..30% to revenue with the acquisition of MicroNet...

5748192 : Video special effects system with graphical operator interface >>

No technical expertise here Randy, but i do have time, so ....often master of the obvious that I am.......my comment.
A more complete package to offer studio DST customers. Add a Micronet RAID front end... then a special effects system. One stop shopping.
Whether that patent will allow any kind of proprietary edge that the DST does, I am absolutely unqualified to judge.
Must say again, shouting this time, cash EXCEEDS CAPITALIZATION. I sure agree with Ed and Al, for those who think this price is getting ridiculously low vis a vis even 18 month prospects, dollar cost averaging into AXC is an excellent approach. If they still sold screaming yellow zonkers, I'd give em up.
Unless there is something deeply hidden here that will lead to their passing around Jonestown Kool Aid instead of banana bread at the next annual meeting, this looks like a buy to me.
