<<i would guess that GMGC has a good shot at breaking Wildfire's iron grip on the market within the 1st week of operation.>>

mike....

hhahhhaa...
careful about such lofty speculation.

<<Wildfire has something like 1000 subscribers. for being the oldest, most well established competitor>>

after all, this is nothing to be sniffed at....
really, it is nothing we can easily forget, can we?

hmm...

You are correct Mike.

They were panned in WSJ a few months ago. I don't remember the actual number but it was very low.

I also find it interesting that Wildire announced a partnership with PacBell I believe in Jan, yet no one has inquired about it. Even though I called the number Wildfire sent me to for signup, PacBell said I was the first to call (which was recent). BTW, they still have no date, pricing, etc. on when it will be available. So much for mindshare.

But mindshare aside, from what I hear through contacts in the industry, Portico is lightyears ahead of wildfire. I still contend wildfire, in it's current form, is not a competitor of Portico. Portico is NOT just unified messaging. If that's all it was, I wouldn't have invested in the stock.
