Norm,
>>Why do you believe that DWM works?
I've read what you, Paul, Lyle and Larry have written and all of you have come up with the same conclusion that it is not possible to exceed Shannon's limits.
I have also read comments from Dr. Lusigna at Stanford that state:
"I can see how the basic premises of Shannon's limits might be bypassed to achieve better than commonly accepted performance."

If you are so sure that it is not possible, then why is it that professor Lusigna says that it might be possible? Stanford seems to be a very highly regarded institution and I would regard their findings to be acceptable. Didn't one of you, I assume that you all work for the same company, talk to Dr. Lusigna previously? Would he have told you that this was all B.S. if it wasn't possible?
Seems to me that Dr. Lusigna has cast some doubt on your beliefs. He also is privy to some documents that you have never seen. Maybe it is not as black and white as you seem to think.
By the way, I have all that I can handle here at home. How come you have to go all the way to Norway? Couldn't think of anything better to do with Inga than skiing?
Cheers
Jim
