e-mail..VVUS, TWA, ALRN

TWA is a slow mover and lackadaisical stock. The market is up nicely and where is TWA?....
MACD IS BEARISH, Resistance is at 11 1/8. Stochastics are oversold. There are better stocks out there poised to make better moves. It might be good for the odd 1/8 point, but as a potential play, there are many better positioned.

VVUS...
VVUS is a trading stock for those that would like a nice 5% profit once in a while but must undergo the 5% loss most other times. As an intermediate trade or short term hold it does not peak my interest in the least. With stocks out there like BEAV, BEAS, EGGS, ZAP,ACTN, ALRN I prefer those. VVUS, like ZITL is a tradeable stock when it moves into range.

ALRN..

Recommended by Barrons (last weeks addition), Recommended by Money magazine (latest) target price of 18... My value indicators likewise put the price at $18. Looks good for short term-intermediate hole.

You know, you might read the "title" of your thread, and then go check out what I suggested.

Afterwards, if you're still so sure I've "hyped" or "spammed" you - then you can come back to me in "terminal techno-snob whining mode"!

I've been out on the road doing industrial Y2K audits for some of the BIGGIES for several months, so I just dropped back in to say "hey". Did I forget to send you my dues - I don't think I got your bill?!?

I don't do YAHOO, ...and the point was to take some extensive homework and share it with you. Presuming you know how to use a search engine - why don't you chase "LNG" "LPG" "CHINA" "POLLUTION" (can't burn charcoal in many provinces there anymore) "PIPELINE" and a few other subjects. With a slight grasp of global perspectives you may see a whole bunch of economic fingers pointing smack dab at China.

Further, with just a little study, you might find that LGOV is the only business entity (BP, EXXON, SHELL, etc - ain't got it) that can both import and distribute LPG and other products into the country!

Duh, wasn't in Rockefeller that said "..competiton is a sin.."; so maybe a profitable, approved, marketting monopoly in a country crying for solutions isn't a "GEM" in your dictionary.

Pardon me.........for trying to share what you DON'T KNOW!

NSOL..it is a difficult choice. I'm only 3/4 point down from where I bought in 300 shares this morning, plus 500 shares I've bought at 35 and did not sell. That leaves me 800 shares that are in average still in good positive territory. I do think the stock will recover, but I think I will lesson my exposure to this company by the end of the day. I will probably hold a total of 300 shares going into tomorrow. In all I've 'played with' 1300 shares of this company and in retrospect, I think it was probably too ambitious a position.
