It was a $50 dollar investment. And if it improves Compaq's market cap by a couple of billion dollars just because they have reminded people that they own AltaVista, I suppose it was $3.5 million well spent...

Charles White of Avatar Assoc. on CNBC in a stock talk segment stated that he owned DELL but has gotten out of his position and recommends CPQ as the investment target.
