I usually find that sauteing my squash plants with a bit of garlic clears up all grub problems.

Yes, use them as aderezo (spices) so cook them together, they are yummie...

Like gusanos (worms) in Mezcal (fire water from Oaxaca)

I think I heard if you put a tray of beer by the plant(s) that the pest will crawl in and drown (not a bad death!). Or maybe that's how the mayor wants to get rid of the bums in Central Park.....
