Roo, There is so much fundamental stuff to deal with here......The short position, if it even exists, should be an interesting side story. Don't get me wrong.....Several of us believe that it exists....and believe that the shares we bought in large numbers were, in fact, shorted to us. We have no proof, other than the fact that we would buy BANY stock day after day.......making up most of the volume...and the stock just kept going down...day after day. We had a very difficult time believing that this was possible..... Anyhow.......As Bany does the deals.....and gets the orders, we feel that the pressure on the short position will grow......until it will need to be taken care of. BANY is on record about the situation. I really don't want this to become a "short squeeze" thread. Yeys and neys all of that stuff really does not apply here...IMO. I hope people will not buy BANY if their goal is to participate in a short squeeze. People who do this always end up bitter and will destroy any thread they post on. So far.....this thread has been a very positive one.....dealing with facts and speculation about a little stock that seems to be going somewhere. Why some new posters have not shown up bashing the company or somehow trying to drive the price of the stock down......I don't know. I'm not sure if those who might be in a short position are worried to the point that they would start bash posting or hire folks to do it....Heck, they may not be internet savy. I just don't know. I will let everyone know if these folks do arrive.......and anyone who calls me wanting to buy any of my shares, (which is what a short in trouble might do)......will get a big no...and I will be very happy, as that would mean that there is a short in trouble. ( I think I would be 3rd or 4th on their list) I don't know.....I think BANY will be well over a dollar within the next four weeks or so on news and fundamentals. A squeeze would be wonderful....but I'm not even sure I would know if one had even been triggered. Perhaps David Hayes would.....He is a really sharp guy. They would call him first....IMO....David is a big BANY fan....long term. bg
