Some added information on calling for your certs. It usually takes from 2 to three weeks to get them and at Schwab they charge $30.00. You can sell you shares in cert. form anytime and have 3 days to get the cert. to the brokerage house. From the time you order them till the time you receive them you may still trade them. They do a final check of your account before they mail them to see that you still have your position on that stock. I know this because I got caught in that OVIS/RMIL mess. Didn't get hit for much, just enough to humble me and make me a MUCH smarter person. I consider it tuition!

Heyy sammie,
Any lack of liquidity is only during the time that you are waiting to actually receive the certs, it is my understanding that once you have in hand can drop off to your broker in the event you would like to sell, but would suggest that if anyone is interested in this that they talk to their broker as every house is different it would seem. Schwab for instance charges a $15 dollar fee for this. Also depending on who transfer agent is can take anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks, again a question to ask broker prior to doing so there is no surprise. All my best,,, DP
