Gotta say this - Eastern Energy, PETD, Cabot. Many more successful O&G companies in WV.

Lonnie

You have a pretty strong opinion of a company you have no
investment in!

If there was any oil in West Virginia don't you think Rockefeller would have got it? Didn't he own Standard Oil of Ohio, doesn't his family live in West Virginia? In fact isn't the senator from W.Va. John D Rockefeller's grandson or something. My point is, if there was oil in West Virginia, the Rockefeller's would have already been drilling

You haven't been around this thread, so I will update you.
There was plenty of oil extracted from the various areas where
MTEI is exploring, this sites were drilled many years ago
by the big co.s, Exxon, etc, with primitive techniques.

Oil drilling has progressed considerably since then,
and the big co.s left behind oil, it is NOT worthit for them to go back and get it, but for a small company like MTEI, it is well worthit,
make sense?

Also, I'm sure you've heard of a company called Petroleum Development (PETD), they have done VERY well with
their oil and gas operations, and they operate in West Virginia!

Go check 'em out.

Cabot Oil & Gas produces 100,000,000 cubic feet of gas per day out of West Virginia alone.
