It sounds like the cards are not all on the table because both companies are still trying to collect cards. (leases, more land, etc)

Todd: First: they had to change the date on the news release, Business Wire put June 30th on the first one. The new link is: biz.yahoo.com I don't have an answer to your question. I do believe that there is no advantage to putting details of the terms in the news release. At any rate, I am happy to see what I consider a great deal of progress. Next stop Matagorda?? ;-)

The ? is what to respond to first.......As far as the press release, I believe, I have answered that ?.......But simply the "delay" was to solidify the News that not just was "a deal in the works, or discussions going on" but, that a deal had been "finalized".....I think that was worth a wait of 5 days not counting the weekend, don't you?.......I have some info., as I mentioned, I may be able to post tomorrow, but it needs more verification, that is to my satisfaction....The great significance of all of this it seems to me....is THIS is a REVENUE generating deal....Not just reports on "proven, unproven, suspected," yada yada, reserves of oil or gas for instance........As the weeks unfold we will be treated to more news, ie: the JV negotiations on MATAGORDA drilling......Take a look at what this Co. (Dan Kesonen) has accomplished in recent weeks....Let's give some credit where credit is due......Sure some out there bought in to this Co. at a "top"..50-55c.....And if they didn't average down, or otherwise performed the proper investing strategies, they are, and should be "still disappointed"......I understand that.....However, in all my posts, I will say, I can only report info......I certainly am not interested in giving lessons in how to trade/invest......On the upside, even for those who may have bought much higher.....these releases should give solice, indicating a Co. on the move.....Which most assuredly should live up to expectations of several dollars a share in the not too distant future..........GO NTAH......Peace
