GM,

Do you have an inclination towards this sector(oil services) b/c you know it well(I've read some of your posts in the past discussing this group) or do you like buying companies undergoing rough times(at the bottom of the RSI)? As with the equipment stocks, you have to believe that sooner or later oil prices will stabilize. After all, there is a finite amount of oil in the world for a seemingly insatiable demand(at least from the US). The problems of these stocks parallel the equipment stocks in that a bet is essentially being made that a recovery will take place. As I believe oil prices will stabilize, I also am inclined to believe that the DRAM pendulum will begin to swing the other way next year. It's just the way these things have historically worked.

BTW, AMAT couldn't have picked a better partner than Leica(Leitz-Wetzlar), the worlds preeminent lens maker. I recently bought one of their "low-end" cameras for about $300.

Regards,

Brian
