robert: Is your ISP only local? If not check for access numbers in the area you will be vacationing in.

Sometimes the ISP providers offer in addition, 800 numbers. However, extra charges are usually higher than just connecting to your local ISP number via long distance!

LG

PS: You may need to get a special modem connector to connect via hotel/motel phone lines. It would allow connection via the handset cord!

Well Bob,

When I was out in SF last year, I also had my laptop and a gratis AOL disk I received in the mail. Popped that sucker in my laptop and used my 30 hours up while I was there... no sweat. Closed the account and explained what I had done, an got a thank you back from a VP who said they would keep my logon open for 6 months and they were pleased to serve me... I keep a drawer full of those free diskettes.

As long as you are up-front and honest with the ISP (AOL in this case), you should have no problems.

It MAY cost you to place the call (my charge was 50 cents from the hotel) even if it is local... but if it is a business call, your employer normally will pay for it! Since I used it to communicate with my boss, it was a heck of a lot cheaper than a voice call!

As far as VGY and the 200 day MA... remember, it DOESN'T take 200 days to change the direction of that MA. As an options trader, I need to know the general direction of the markets and the direction of VGY tells me that.

You have spoken about a 50 day MA... that is useful also... it just depends on your needs and time frames.

I expect VGY to rally back to the 470 area which is where the 200 and 50 MAs will be in a week or so... THEN we will see if it is all over.

Congratulations on 20! My wife and I have been married since 1976 - the second marriage for us both - not to each other of course! I proposed on Independence day!

Bill
