Anyone have any thoughts on the possible effect Netware associates announcement tonight might have on NOVL 'morrow?

Hello, I NEVER said people don't need networks.... I said people don't need NOVL to network their computers.... They basically did in the Windows 3.XX world... Microsoft's alternative was not an option for real networks.... So Lantastic and NOVELL took over the network.... MSFT is on a mission to take control again however and NOVL must stop this to be successfull... I.E. they need to provide products I need to support an Network.... I understand that NOVL now supports Pure IP... My 95,98, NT machines already support IP... Why do I NEED NOVL products? As far as the new CEO.... Don't bet your investment on a CEO unless it's Jack Welch.... CEO's come and go.... When he get's sick of his diminishing market... Sagging Stock prices... He will be off to Yahoo in a heartbeat.... This guy is going to have to pull a real hat trick to turn NOVELL around... 5-10 year survival rate is not good... Maybe he can come up with a slick name like J-Netware and say it's a 100% Java Network management tool, raise stock prices, sell his and move on.... CNA, CNE, ECNE, MCNE, MCSE are all a waste of time this new world of the internet... What you should be taking is core classes on JAVA, Perl, CGI, C, C++, etc.... Any monkey can support a network... Why not create your own destiny instead of supporting someone elses big nightmare of Bugs.... I.E create your own bugs for someone else to support.... Get a Life... Go get a BS, MS, or PHD and then come back and talk to me.... Maybe I'll hire you.... I can ya know...
