Weekapaug,

On a certain level PCs and other various forms of computers are commodity items. On another level, they are not a commodity item. We should be in both markets. The high level advanced computers of today will be the commodity computer of tomorrow. The markets compliment each other. If you produce high level PCs today, you know what will work in a commodity market tomorrow.

A great example to me is the CDR burner. Several years ago they cost $15,000 and were difficult to operate. Today you can buy one for $300 to $500, and if you know how to save to a floppy drive you can burn CDs. Business will make more profits on the low cost CDR burner then the $15,000 CD burner.

Commodity PCs will become a problem only when advancements in computer technology come to an end. I think we are a long way from that happening.
