Walker: I didn't say that it was "even" better at Waterhouse. I said both companies provide better service to me than Web Street.

The reason your bid didn't appear is that there are three options exchanges, not one. Your trade may have been placed on the Chicago, while you may have been looking at the Pacific.

I get instantaneous confirmation on screen at Brown and Co. And a phone call often within seconds afterwards. I can get instant fills if I place an attractive offer. Obviously if I go outside the market I will only get a fill if the market goes where I'm hoping, at any of the brokers.

Speaking of options, here's a question for the rest of you, though I'm probably directing it to the wrong group...

I'd like to be able to see the bid and ask in real time on line on all the options exchanges.

At Brown and Waterhouse I can VOICE direct my order to a particular exchange but not online so a secondary request would be to be able to direct the orders to the particular exchange on line.

Anyone have a real time quote service or a brokerage with real time that can provide the first request (seeing bid and ask in real time on line on all the options exchanges)? And one that can place orders on line in each?
