Many are already "seeing Katmai".

The rest of us will have to wait until the end of this year or very early next year.

It will probably be introduced with the "old" 440 BX chip set, although a new chip set - CAMINO - is being designed for it.

Camino will support SLDRAM and RAMBUS memory, but it seems to be "late". I would expect CAMINO to be available in Q299.
